Neopost IS-420 Franking Machine

Specifications and Features

The Neopost IS-420 Franking Machine.
The Neopost IS-420 franking machine has a throughput rate of 65 letters per minute using the machine to process standard letters. Awkward-sized letters or parcels can be franked using the automatic label dispenser. If you need to send heavier items, the standard 3 kg weigh scale can be replaced by a 5, 10 or 30 kg scale.

E-mail alerts to tell you when the ink is running out mean that the digital ink-jet printer in the franking machine will never run dry, and will continue to produce the clear type necessary to ensure your post arrives at its destination without interruption. In fact, the whole operation of the machine is user-friendly, with the ability to use shortcut keys on the well set-set out control panel.

The IS-420 is fully compliant with Royal Mail’s Mailmark system and, as well as it being PPI enabled, you can pay in arrears for your postage with Neofunds and reclaim your VAT from using Royal Mail services with the installed smart technology.

A total of 100 separate accounts for monitoring usage by department, through the online MyNeopost service, will give you plenty of scope for managing your postal expenses in an efficient manner.

Finally, the capability to print logos onto your post, and to include marketing messages, gives you the ability to promote your company’s message before anyone even opens the envelope.

The Cost

To buy this mid-range franking machine will set you back around £3,340, but you will also need to invest in a maintenance/service contract, which is likely to cost at least £350 per year. The cheaper option, for those unable to invest that much capital, would be to rent. Lease costs could be as little as £55 per month.

Like all franking machines the Neopost IS-420 can be bought or more commonly rented at a variety of price points. To find out further information you’ll have to get a quote. Click here to find out more.

  • IS 420, I am considering buying this outright however, can you please tell me what service contract costs would be and what would be included. Also, what are the costs for the consumables i.e. ink costs etc., I am hoping to make a decision tomorrow, so all this information would be helpful immediately.
    thank you.
