The DM900 digital mailing system is a high volume franking machine designed to be used in businesses that send in excess of 500 mail items per day. It has an automatic feeder which is capable of processing up to 240 letters per minute. It can handle mail items measuring up to 330 x 380 mm and up to 19 mm in thickness. The optional integrated scale can be 7 kg, 12 kg or 35 kg and there is the option of differential weighing if required.

Useful Features

This machine has the capacity to handle up to 300 departmental codes and many other useful features such as; automatic dating, low postage warning, password security and low ink warnings. It also has a wide range of optional features including; a barcode scanner, power stackers, envelope advertisements, PiP facilities and text entry. Additionally, the Intellilink software allows for automatic downloads of changes to postal rates and software upgrades. It can also download advertising logos and slogans to be used on envelopes.

Specifications

The machine itself requires a LAN or telephone connection. It measures 480mm (H) x 1470 mm (W) x 560 mm (D). It weighs in at 62 kg before any optional extras are added. The standard drop stacker adds a further 330 mm and the power stacker 1120mm.

Cost

The cost of the DM900 will depend on whether it is purchased outright or leased. Purchase costs can be upwards of £16,000 whereas leases will be dependent on the length of lease opted for but prices for a 48 month lease would be somewhere in the region of £400 per month.
