Founded in 1970, Frama AG, the well known Swiss designers and manufactures of mailing machines, have constantly kept abreast of technology, and now supplying a wide range of cost-effective digital franking devices suitable for any office.

Model Matrix F4-L

The Matrix F4-L is suitable for businesses with a medium to large mail output; this system can frank up to 3,000 letters per hour.

Whilst the machine comes ready for use, operators can also benefit from 30 one-touch programmable functions via its ComTouch display. Alongside weight, tariff and letter size, this display shows remaining ink and postal credit.

An integral 600 dpi printer allows business advertisements and franking information to be applied to envelopes clearly, including:

  • 8 advertising stamps
  • 3 standard advertising messages
  • 3 programmable texts

For accounting and departmental usage, a range of reports can be printed.

Envelopes can be up to 10 mm thick, but for oversized mail label printing is available, produced by the built-in label dispenser.

Modular Matrix

The F4-L is the base of a modular system. Various other peripherals can be added including:

  • Frama letter balance – enables tariff guided weighing, computing and franking.
  • 1-D bar code – supplemental postal services can be achieved in the workplace.
  • AFS automatic feeder – fully adjusts according to thickness.
  • Envelope sealer
